Rocco and Chris De Bellis and family have farmed at "Gracefield" Katanning, Western Australia since 1988. The Gracefield, property is situated approximately 270km south of Perth in the heart of the Great Southern of Western Australia, an area renowned for stud sheep.

The Gracefield Stud was established in 1998 after excellent results the previous year commercially. Genetics were sourced within Australia and in 2000, 120 embryos were imported from South Africa. Breed aims are to produce the best muscled carcase with soft white, free-growing wools in the 21-23 micron range.

Gracefield Stud has become one of the largest suppliers of SAMM genetics throughout Australia and also has exported genetics to China and New Zealand.
